The Participation Agreement and accepted Enrollment prevail in a conflict. **Attorney Advertising.** Content featuring or posted by lawyers may constitute attorney advertising depending on its content, use and applicable rules. Legalicious applies that label where appropriate, including on relevant profiles and on screen and in descriptions of affected videos and derivatives, with applicable labels preserved through syndication. The same assessment applies to paid and Guest appearances; payment status alone neither requires nor excuses labeling. Non-lawyer appearances are not automatically attorney advertising and must be accurately attributed. Separate sponsorship and material-connection disclosures remain additional. Legalicious is published by Bitesize Ventures, Inc. A label alone does not establish compliance with every jurisdiction's requirements. **Legalicious is not a law firm.** It is an educational media platform. It does not practise law, provide legal services or give legal advice, and it is not authorised to do any of those things. **Educational video notice.** Every educational video, including standalone educational clips, carries “General information only, not legal advice. Laws vary by jurisdiction.” on screen in the outro and in its description. Required advertising labels and jurisdiction-specific disclosures are additional. **Nothing here is legal advice.** All content is general and educational. It is not tailored to your situation, may not reflect the law of your jurisdiction, and may be out of date. The law differs between places and changes over time. Do not act, or refrain from acting, on anything you find here without advice from a lawyer qualified in your jurisdiction, on your actual facts. **No attorney–client relationship.** Legalicious publishes educational information and does not provide legal advice or legal services. Accessing or using Legalicious or its content creates no attorney–client relationship with Legalicious or any contributor. **External links to law firm websites.** A faculty lawyer’s profile links to a page on their law firm’s website, opening in a new window. Legalicious provides no contact form, inbox or messaging facility for contacting the lawyer. Any contact happens separately on the firm’s website; Legalicious does not receive or relay it. If, after leaving Legalicious, you choose to contact a lawyer through that website to ask whether they can help you, the law in many places treats you as a prospective client, and the lawyer may owe you duties about what you tell them, even if no engagement follows; that depends on your jurisdiction and on the lawyer, not on Legalicious. Two things do not depend on anything: nothing you post publicly on this site is protected, and nothing you send to Legalicious is privileged, because Legalicious is not a lawyer. **Participation fees.** Faculty Counsel and firms enrolled as Faculty Firm pay a participation fee for the production and presence specified in their agreements. It does not buy editorial control, a particular Style Spectrum score, guaranteed prominence or any endorsement by Legalicious. Guest Contributors appear by invitation and pay nothing. The same advertising-label applicability standard applies to both; any separately required sponsorship or material-connection disclosure remains additional. **Each lawyer's advertising is their own.** Where a video or profile is attorney advertising, it is the advertising of the lawyer and firm named on it, produced by Legalicious. Accompanying names and credits identify the relevant lawyer and firm; the generic label alone does not identify them. Non-lawyer guests are identified by their actual role. **Professional information; no endorsement.** Participants must provide accurate admissions and professional information and promptly notify changes. Legalicious may check credentials but does not promise to verify every participant or continuously monitor professional standing. Registration as a lawyer member or posting User Content does not establish that a check has occurred. We do not endorse or guarantee any lawyer’s competence, standing, insurance, availability, fees, suitability for your matter or conduct. Check current official records and make your own assessment. **Not a directory. Not a referral service.** We do not rank, match, recommend or refer, and we do not receive, hold or forward communications between you and any lawyer. We receive no fee, commission or share of any kind that depends on whether you contact or engage any lawyer. **Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.** Nothing here predicts or promises any legal result. **"Faculty Counsel" and "Faculty Firm"** are titles within the Legalicious program. They describe participation in our editorial faculty. They are not employment by Legalicious, an academic appointment, a certification, a specialisation, or any indication of skill, experience or quality. "Practice focus" describes what a lawyer works on; it is not a claim of specialisation or expertise. **Style Spectrum scores are editorial opinion** about how a lawyer communicates — plain-spoken to technical, brisk to thorough. They are not ratings of legal ability, quality or results.
